Integrated E-mail |
One of the key features of DbNetOffice is the way e-mail in integrated into the heart of the system. With e-mails read directly into the database, DbNetOffice can offer the following powerful features:
- Once a mailbox has been defined users can be simply subscribed to the e-mail address to form a group of users which can share and manage the e-mail address collectively. Any user within the subscribing group can see a complete picture of all messages received by or sent from the e-mail address by any of the other subscribing users.
- E-Mails are automatically grouped into conversations or threads. When viewing a message a user can either go directly to the next or previous e-mail in chronological sequence or view a list of all sent and received items in the thread.
- Within the group of subscribing users e-mails can be individually assigned to a user where action by a particular DbNetOffice user is required.
- Received and sent e-mails are automatically linked to contact and organisation records using the e-mail address.
- Historical e-mails can be found quickly using qualified or free-text searches. No need to search archived items separately as all e-mails are held together.
- Attachments with extensions that make them potentially unsafe are automatically disabled and cannot be opened.
- All messages from unverified sources that contain HTML content are opened in a safe text-only format that allows them to be safely previewed before deleting or processing.
- Organise e-mails by assigning them to shared or personal folders. In addition rules can be created that automatically assign e-mails to folders as they are received.
